Medical Needs

East Morton CE Primary School will make every effort to ensure that all children with medical conditions, in terms of both physical and mental health, are properly supported in school so that they can play a full and active role in school life, remain healthy and achieve their academic potential. In addition to the educational impacts, we want to also provide for children’s social and emotional difficulties that may be associated with medical conditions. Children can be self-conscious about their condition and some may develop emotional disorders, such as anxiety or depression, around their medical condition, therefore we acknowledge their social and emotional need, which may lead to additional support.

If your child develops any medical problems then please contact the school’s Inclusion Leader Mrs Emma Petts at sendco@emp.bdat-academies.org so that a meeting can be arranged to see how we can best suit their needs.

If you child has been prescribed medication which needs to be administered by school, please download and complete the following document. Completed forms need to be handed in at the school office with the necessary medication.

Today, we have been joined by several parents sharing their careers as part of our enterprise week. We have learnt so much and we are incredibly grateful to our community for supporting this. #DTatEM #mechanicalengineering #Mechanics #Bridaldesign
