Welcome to East Morton Church of England Primary School

Headteacher's Welcome

I am delighted to welcome you to East Morton’s website. The various headings at the top of the screen will provide you with a wealth of information about our successful village school.

Our school motto is ‘Everyone, Every Chance, Every Day’ and in partnership with our parents, St Luke’s Church and Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust (BDAT), our staff strive to ensure that each and every one of our children leaves us at the end of Year 6 as a confident and articulate learner, who is excited for the challenge that lies ahead.

As an ‘outstanding’ Church of England school, we have a strong Christian ethos, which is highly inclusive and ensures that all are welcomed here, be they of the Christian faith, another faith, or of no faith at all.

We have the highest of expectations for our learners, but have striven to ensure that we also provide a broad and balanced curriculum which, along with our core offer of English, Maths, Science and RE, fully embraces the arts, humanities and of course physical education.

Should you wish to visit the school, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01274 569447, or office@eastmorton.bradford.sch.uk.

Last week, Year 3 produced some fantastic art work inspired by the Japanese artist Hokusai. Using a variety of techniques such as printing, washing and sketching, the children created their own version of 'The Great Wave'! @WeAreBDAT
