St Luke’s Church has been at the heart of East Morton village ever since it was built in 1851. East Morton CE Primary has mutually beneficial collaborations with the church. A short walk from the school, our children regularly visit to learn about the church as part of their RE curriculum or to take part in worship. St Luke’s Church building contains a large community space in East Morton and our PTA benefit from the space for hosting fundraising events.

If you are interested in finding out about the church, want to find out when a particular event is taking place, want to know more about being a Christian, or are looking to book a wedding or baptism, we hope you will find all the information you need, either on their website , on their Facebook page or follow them on ‘X’ @StLukes_StMarys.
We would love to be able to welcome you in person so do get in touch or come along to one of our services. There is space for all to come and belong, to find friends on the journey and to grow in faith and love. There is always worship in church on a Sunday morning at 10am – either Morning Worship or Holy Communion or Family Service. There is usually at least one “alternative” evening service a month at 6pm – it may be Choral Evensong or Praise and Worship or Taizé Worship.
Baptisms/Christenings take place on a Sunday. They may take place either at 10am during the morning service or later at 12noon or 1pm. Messy Church is shared with Riddlesden and usually takes place in Riddlesden on the second Thursday of each month.
