St Luke’s Church

St Luke’s Church has been at the heart of East Morton village ever since it was built in 1851. Visitors are always welcome to their services and events.

Whether you’re just interested in finding out about the church, want to find out when a particular event is taking place, want to know more about being a Christian, or are looking to book a wedding or baptism, we hope you will find all the information you need, either on our website or on our Facebook page

We would love to be able to welcome you in person so do get in touch or come along to one of our services. There is space for all to come and belong, to find friends on the journey and to grow in faith and love.

Most Sundays the worship takes place at 9.30am and 11.15am, but on many Sundays there are other times too. For up-to-date detailed information see the website.

Of particular interest to parents and children are the following activities:

  • We have a Sunday School that meets usually on the second Sunday of each month at 9.30am.
  • The Tonic for All Ages service at 11.15am is very informal.
  • Baptisms/Christenings take place on a Sunday. They may take place either at the 9.30am service, or during Tonic at 11.15am or in the early afternoon at 1pm or 2pm.
  • Messy Church is shared with Riddlesden and usually takes place in Riddlesden on the second Thursday of each month
