PE with Mr B

Hello girls, boys, ladies and gentlemen and welcome to PE at East Morton.

PE at East Morton will be on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday, however, if you wish to do any of these activities every day then please do!

On Mondays we will start the week with ‘Ten A Day’ the East Morton way. This routine was inspired by the late and amazing Captain Sir Tom Moore. Set yourself a challenge of completing ten activities throughout the day. Please watch the video of East Morton staff showing you a few ideas. As well as keeping yourself active, please do the activities safely and have fun!

Wednesdays will continue with our Street Dance day, with the support of one of our parents, Caroline Fallis-Taylor ( Have you improved your dance moves? Let’s revisit and practice those moves again!

Fridays will be Sports Day and we would like you to create your own sports games. We will attach a series of sessions linked to various sports and supported by the Yorkshire Sports Foundation – ‘This is PE’, but feel free to adapt these activities to create your own games.

Thank you for all your wonderful pictures, videos and tweets, please keep sending them in – I love seeing them! Also, if you have any queries, ideas or suggestions then please e-mail me at

Please ensure that when working inside or outdoors, the clothing and footwear is appropriate for the activity being undertaken and the condition and nature of the playing surface is clear and safe for the activity that is being conducted. Footwear should be in good repair, close fitting and provide secure footing and any jewellery should be removed. The children are very good at warming up and cooling down, however, they may need a gentle reminder.
