School Council

The School Council consists of elected representatives from each class - four from years five and six and two from reception through to year four. The main tasks of the School Council is to work towards improving things in school for the children, and leading events to raise money for selected charities. The Council members are responsible for representing and reporting back to their indvidual classes.

 

Examples of things organised by School Council include:

  • Reintroducing the 'top table' at lunchtime for 'fine diners'.
  • Meeting with the School Governors and Friends of Morton Committee to discuss improvements to playground equipment and resources.
  • Arranging fundraising events for 'Children in Need' and 'Sports Relief'.
